Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated Retail Account Manager to manage and grow our relationships with major retail partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail sales and account management within the beauty industry. This role requires a strategic thinker who can drive sales, negotiate terms, and ensure our products are prominently featured and performing well in retail environments. We are currently working with Macy's, Rite Aid, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with major retail accounts.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and promotional opportunities to maximize sales and profitability.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop in-store promotions and merchandising strategies.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to deliver products on time.
- Monitor sales performance and develop strategies to improve sales and product placement.
- Ensure product placement and inventory levels are optimized.
- Provide training and support to retail staff about the brand and products.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Prepare regular reports on account performance and market insights.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in retail account management, preferably within the beauty industry.
- Existing connections with buyers of major retailers.
- Proven track record of driving sales and managing retail accounts.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends.
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with retail partners and attend industry events.
