Customer Service - Administrative Assistant - Account Support Representative
United Staffing Solutions, a leader in staffing, is representing a very successful electronics retailer located in Midtown West is seeking assistance with customer service in their Corporate Accounts department. This is a direct hire/permanent position with a 30 day probationary period. The schedule is Monday – Thurs 9am-6pm & Friday 9am-2pm. Salary is $47,500-$52,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits offered after 60 days include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401k, PTO. Holiday pay is offered after 90 days.
Responsibilities for the Account Support Representative:
- Responding to in-bound customer inquiries/concerns
- Building relationships with customers
- Processing customer Quote/bid requests and Purchase Orders and entering them into the ordering system along with any changes or cancellation requests.
- Proactively following up with customers regarding outstanding orders both pre and post-sale
- Escalating customer issues or communications as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements for the Account Support Representative:
- College degree preferred
- At least 1 year of experience working in an office environment including phone and email based customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Courteous demeanor on the phone and professional email etiquette
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and general office productivity tools.
- Tech savvy, able to learn new programs
- Ability to adapt to change and to work collaboratively with a team
