Job Description:
The Applied Social and Cultural Sciences Department seeks Adjunct Anthropology Instructors. Primary responsibility will be to teach Cultural Anthropology and Biological Anthropology at the undergraduate level to non-majors. The adjunct Anthropology professor is responsible for the planning, preparation, and execution of classroom and/or laboratory experiences.
Job Requirements:
Applicants must possess a master's degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours of coursework in Anthropology. Master's degree in Anthropology with a specialization in Biological Anthropology and/or Cultural Anthropology and experience teaching online is preferred.
Additional desirable qualifications include:
Effective integration of technology to facilitate student learning
Experience teaching first-year, first-generation college students
Skills in assessing students learning
Ability to teach face-to-face, asynchronous online, or hybrid
Additional Information:
Contract renewal is contingent upon evidence of teaching effectiveness.
