We are looking for a Revenue Cycle Manager. The Manager of Revenue Cycle Operations is responsible for a team at the office that supports our mission, vision and office goals. The Manager develops an environment and culture that embraces continuous improvement and innovation to ensure best practice are achieved in all areas of the revenue cycle. They will ensure the RCM department maximizes the collectability of the services performed. Ensuring that policies and practices support operational quality, efficiency, and compliance. They will coordinate with other functional areas that impact or support Revenue Cycle to ensure appropriate collaboration and system wide efficiency of operations. Provides oversight and leadership development for direct reports.
Duties primarily include:
- Interfacing with other Manager and Senior Leadership at our office
- Supervises and Manages of Accounts Receivable, Billing, Payments, Collections and serves as the Project Lead for vendor relationships to improve reimbursement, production, and processes.
- Ensures all staff are trained and meeting expectations of their roles.
- Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing, payment posting, and collection activity for patient accounts.
- - Coordinates internal and external audits related to Revenue Cycle functions.
- Maintains days in AR, cash/net revenue, A/R aging and credit balances to meet established goals.
- Responsible for management of office cash including daily cash balance reporting, cash collections, payment posting, daily deposits and cash disbursements.
- Assist management in identifying areas of opportunity to ensure achievement of established financial and operational objectives.
- Oversee personnel responsible for billing, collections.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 5 years of previous RCM management experience in a healthcare related industry.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT codes, and ICD-10 codes preferred
- Expert level experience with Microsoft Office Products- ability to create and build spreadsheets and reports in Excel
- Demonstrates competence in management and leadership skills to develop and implement organizational strategies and opportunities for improving ASC growth.
- Maintain current knowledge and adhere to appropriate regulatory standards such as Medicare.
- Ability to analyze data and develop systems to accurately control financial activity.
- Effective English communication skills, both written and verbal.
