Quality Specialist
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards through meticulous quality management and assurance processes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and review inspection process and related paperwork to ensure effective quality control
- Conduct regular audits of manufacturing and assembly to ensure adherence to procedures and identify and address safety hazards
- Document and troubleshoot nonconformances
- Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to avoid recurrence
- Train, assess and certify personnel to ensure they can perform assembly tasks safely and accurately according to process work instructions
- Keep an updated record of personnel skills and qualifications.
- Oversee the quarantine area to ensure nonconforming products are properly handled and dispositioned.
- Assist with additional inspections during peak times or when other inspectors are unavailable.
- Conduct daily SQDIP (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Productivity)meetings.
- Track and report SQDIP data to monitor performance and drive improvements.
- Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by the QHSE Manager.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall quality strategy.
Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Have excellent problem-solving skills to effectively handle a variety of issues relating to equipment malfunction and the production process
- Have knowledge and experience with assembly lines and process work instructions
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
