The Village of Shiloh is seeking a full-time Public Works Maintenance Worker. Applicants must have a high school diploma and a CDL Class B license with air brake endorsement. At least 2 years of public works maintenance experience is preferred. Preferred experience includes snow plowing, driving / operating large equipment, street repairs, sanitary sewer system maintenance, park and playground maintenance, building maintenance, electrical, plumbing, vehicle/equipment maintenance, and related duties. Applicants must be able to traverse uneven ground, lift and carry at least 100 pounds, climb ladders, work weekends and nights, work extended shifts, and work outdoors in varying types of weather. The applicant must be self-motivated and be in the public eye. Candidates must have the ability to acquire other Illinois applicator licenses and certifications. Applicants are subject to background checks, pre-hire physicals, proficiency testing, and drug and alcohol testing. Interested candidates must submit a completed application and a resume with a list of references. Pay: $25.00 per hour.
