Sofidel America of Green Bay, WI is currently seeking a Machine Operator to join our team. We are searching for a candidate that is local to the area and is looking for a long-term role in a stable environment. Your expertise will make you an important part of our team!
This individual will set up, operate, and maintain folding machines that perform a variety of functions, such as folding, sawing, banding, wrapping, boxing or stacking of paper goods. This individual will also monitor quality checks on each shift and provide training to Operator Assistants.
Job Responsibilities:

- Ensure that the finished goods comply with customer requirements by understanding and applying customer specifications to the operation of the machine.
- Configure and monitor a computerized operating panel, as required, and calculate mathematical conversions to ensure that each product meets the required standards.
- Ensure that production runs are accurate by conducting hourly quality checks, and sending daily reports to the QA department.
- Monitor and perform product changeovers in conjunction with the Rapid Changeover Technicians (RCO Techs).
- Ensure that the established production quotas are met by initiating the setup, operation, and adjustment of folding equipment as well as any downstream equipment.
- Keep lines of communication with quality, maintenance, and supervision open and frequent.
- Train and monitor the activity of the other employees on the machine.
- Keep the work area clean and organized while following the lean initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able to work on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule.
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED); and/or previous relevant experience is preferred.
- Must be able to interpret documents regarding safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, along with quality and procedure manuals.
- Must be able to analyze manufacturing operations and perform capacity analysis to identify obstructions.
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- Must demonstrate the ability to promote a safe working environment.

Pay: $21.75 - $29.00 per hour
