Summary:
Our sales Manager is a senior, front-line manager role responsible for developing effective sales, collections, and structural sales strategies in the Southwestern US.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Develop, lead, and execute regional business plans and develop regional business strategies to meet sales regional objectives.
2. Monitor compliance regarding proper and appropriate use of approved client resources.
3. Meet and exceed targets for sales, expense controls, and account penetration.
4. Develop robust and compelling strategic business plans including plans on new opportunities within the Region.
5. Use all available resources to develop effective account management strategies and capitalize on sales opportunities.
6. Monitor, guide, and advise clients to achieve business targets, improve selling skills and build sustainable customer relationships.
7. Identify customer, competitor, and other Regional and Territory issues and communicate to appropriate personnel. Attend trade shows and sales meetings as needed.
8. Submit accurate, timely, and complete reports and paperwork regarding field activities and results, market surveys, forecasts, and expense reports.
9. Communicate, model, and monitor conformance to company ethical standards of conduct.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Located in the state of Texas.
- Bachelor's degree - highly desired
- More than 5 years of experience leading commercial relationships in the electrical market.
- Extensive commercial knowledge of the Southwest USA.
- Keys Account Management experience
- Ability to effectively communicate to ensure that all goals and objectives are being met.
- Ability to work cross-functionally within a team environment.
- Availability to travel as needed.
- Sales Force experience.
