About the Company
The IT System Administrator Acquisitions Support will report to the Field IT Services Manager.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Remote support desktop, laptop, and iPad, network equipment
- Managing day-to-day delivery of services (VOIP, SIP, ACD, Carrier Network) to ensure adherence to defined service levels
- Installation, administration, operation, trouble diagnosis and maintenance of VoIP, unified communications and call centers
- Purchase, install, and maintain equipment such as printers, scanners etc.
- Able to troubleshoot with the Network team on network issues related to VOIP technologies
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and other network and system problem
- Work with cross-functional team to coordinate equipment and network deployment plan
- Staging and configuration of network electronics based on customer requirements
- Performing physical implementation of network electronics into customer environments
- Performing customer assessments, design, build, and technical documentation in support of the organization
- Provide Tier 1+/Tier 2 troubleshooting to resolve common issues with VoIP phones and VTC codecs (Nextiva a Plus)
- Understanding various network, data center, and data closet components
- Troubleshooting and problem resolution independently or as part of a team
- Interfacing with clients, partners, and internal team members to ensure effective implementation and integration strategies are executed
- Focus on providing a high level of customer satisfaction throughout solution delivery process
- Responsible for inspection of work quality of onsite resources to ensure success
- Assist with troubleshooting of client solutions onsite and remotely
- Ensure that L2 / L3 testing has been completed prior to leaving customer site
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
- Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers. Fortinet FortiGate experience is a big plus.
- Must be familiar with a wide base of technologies such as networking, network service (DHCP, DNS), wireless networking, and network security
- Working knowledge of VLANs and routing.
- Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols
- Working knowledge and troubleshooting of SMB Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy.
- Working knowledge of VPN / IPsec VPN topology, setup and trouble shooting.
- Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization.
- Strong project management
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills
- Travel up to +70 % annually as required
