Heffler, Radetich & Saitta LLP, founded in 1941, is a full-service regional CPA and consulting firm located in Center-City Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Our clients include S Corporations, C Corporations, Partnerships, trust, estates, not-for-profit organizations, and high-net-worth individuals and family groups. We have immediate openings for Staff Accountants.
Position Responsibilities
- Conduct Third-Party desk reviews and audits of Medicare Cost Reports submitted to the government annually by various types of Healthcare Providers such as Acute Care Hospitals, Critical Access Hospitals, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Home Health Agencies, Renal Dialysis Facilities, etc.
- Perform other attest engagements, including forensic accounting and field examinations
- Perform various compilation and review services
- Adhere to professional quality control and client service standards
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Solid knowledge of accounting fundamentals
- Strong computer skills; Excel and Word Required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Analytical thinker
- Team player willing to learn and share ideas
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Eligibility and desire to become a CPA
- Ability to work up to 45 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. A recent college graduate or with up to 1 year experience.
