About CICA
CICA is an expanding group private practice seeking to hire a full-time LICSW Clinical Supervisor/Psychotherapist to provide psychotherapy for high functioning adults, couples, and adolescents as well as provide clinical supervision. The practice is located in the heart of Boston's Financial District in a secure, contemporary professional building, minutes away from the MBTA’s South Station.
Our mission is to provide high-quality, insight-oriented therapy, that is culturally sensitive and eclectic/adaptable to meet our diverse client population’s multitude of clinical needs. Our clinical team prides itself in being multi-cultural, multi-lingual, and comes from a wide range of treatment modalities. The ideal candidate will commit to continually providing compassionate, culturally integrative care for our clients, and will be actively engaged within a collaborative, team-oriented group practice, while also being skilled in working independently with their respective clients.
The Clinical Supervisor co-manage CICA’s clinical operations, inclusive of providing clinical supervision to a cohort of MSW interns, independently licensed clinicians as well as those seeking independent licensure (e.g. LCSW clinicians). Furthermore, the Clinical Supervisor is responsible for sharing in the provision of onsite supervision coverage, developing ongoing training/continuing education opportunities, and creating programs and policies that promote improved quality of clinical care at the practice. Additionally, the Clinical Supervisor is responsible (along with the Clinical Director) for promoting overall staff morale and satisfaction, and engaging in advocacy on behalf of the clinical staff, as necessary.
The Clinical Supervisor is a dual clinical and administrative role, entailing both a client-facing caseload, as well as non-clinical time focused on administrative, supervisory, and programmatic responsibilities.
