VP Racing Fuels has multiple openings for Production Fulfillment Associates. Since it's founding in 1975, VP has grown to over 300 employees with five company-owned and operated race fuel distribution points in Texas, Indiana, Delaware, and Tennessee, a regional office in southern California, and an international office in Berlin. POSITION DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position is working 2:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M.
- Perform duties such as boxing, packaging and labeling of fuel.
- Assist shipping and receiving by unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching Purchase Orders to Sales Orders.
- Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
- Fill Requisitions and fuel drums, Work Orders, or Requests for Materials and distributes them to shipping or to designated route driver storage area.
- Assist in counting of physical inventory.
- Organize warehouse and work areas for orderliness at all times.
- Sweep, dust and mop warehouse as needed.
- Will be required to perform other warehouse duties as requested, directed or assigned.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
- Ability to maintain safe work environment.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
PREFERRED COMPETENCIES, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
- HazMat Training is a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Requires heavy lifting.
- Requires standing for 6-8 hours per day.
- Requires kneeling/ squatting for 1-2 hours per day.
- Requires bending/ stooping for 2-4 hours per day.
- Requires use of Pallet Jack to move palletized containers.
- Requires lifting and carrying objects that weigh between 10-50 lbs. from 4-6 hours per day.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work is performed in a combination of shop and outside environments.
- Exposure to elements such as noise, dust, odors, fumes, oils and weather conditions
