What You Will Do:*
Revv Aviation is seeking an experienced Controller to add to the Finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Controller in a leadership role. As the Controller, you will be responsible for supervising the accounting department, which will include preparing monthly financial statements, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, accounting review, establishing, and maintaining organizational structure, and staffing as well as selecting, training, and mentoring of accounting staff. The Controller will also produce financial-status reports for senior managers to help improve our operational efficiency and aid in our continued growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*
- Provide timely, accurate and an efficient monthly accounting close.
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation, review, and analysis.
- Perform budget to actual financial statement review and KPI analysis.
- Supervise the preparation of the monthly management financial reporting package, including variance analysis.
- Mange accounting functions on a day-to day basis including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, treasury management, account reconciliation, aircraft revenue & billings.
- Manage, track, and report on key performance indicators and perform margin analysis.
- Develop costing models for aircraft revenue & costing models.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance accounting and finance policies, processes, and procedures to comply with US GAAP
- Seek opportunities to revise or create new policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the accounting group and the company.
- Responsible for local, state, and federal tax compliance and reporting (including payroll, property, FET tax compliance and reporting)
- Manage preparation of regulatory filings
- Collaborate with management and assist the CFO on the preparation of the annual budget and reforecasting and analysis.
- Manage and participate in system integration and implementation.
- Collaborate with Flight Operations, Maintenance, Sales and Marketing, Human Resources on reporting needs and analysis.
- Assist with accounting and reporting needs for potential company acquisitions and mergers.
- Review process and systems for efficiencies for potential company acquisitions, mergers, and strategic goals of the organization.
- Train and develop staff.
- Assist the CFO on special projects.
- Perform other duties assigned.
Qualifications:
- Seven to ten years of accounting experience required.
- Three to five years in a leadership role required.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- CPA a Plus
- Aviation Experience a Plus
