A Lead Teacher will oversee the day-to-day activities of a classroom, while also supervising the classroom’s students. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of early childhood education, is passionate about children, and early learning, and is committed to creating a positive learning community.
Responsibilities
- Develop relationships with students, parents, and other teachers.
- Plan and prepare lesson plans based on student needs and growth.
- Establish professional relationships with parents, students, and other teachers.
- Provide a safe and positive learning environment, with high attention to hygiene and safety.
Qualifications
Associates or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred, a minimum of 18 credits completed in ECE or a related field.
- Prior experience working in Early Childhood Education setting preferred.
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills in order to work effectively with both children and their parents.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $20.50 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
