Project Manager
As a project manager for Naylor, the project manager will play a critical role supporting a focused portfolio of Naylor s high value and strategically important accounts (likely portfolio size of 15-20 accounts, each with various projects at any given time). You will work in close concert with the Account Manager, Project Management team and Artisan leaders. Your responsibility is to retain budgets on designated projects and ensure successful client outcomes. This requires excellent client handling skills and exceptional internal coordination – this role will work in close concert with internal Naylor teams and clients to drive optimal business operations and outcomes.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate the account/project turnover from Sales to Operations
- Communicate regularly and heavily to the client regarding project expectations, constraints, scheduling, etc.
- Communicate internally to the Naylor teams regarding project updates, client expectations, and other important communications.
- Review budgets for the project with the project accountant
- Work closely with the account manager regarding client retention
- Operate within a collaborative environment with highly motivated account teammates and interact with many other matrixed parts of the business.
Examples
- Review planned scope of work and scheduling of the work with the client prior to starting the project
- Meet with the client regarding constraints and providing various conflict resolutions available
- For high priority projects or high priority clients, schedule a weekly or bi-weekly meeting to review project progress.
Experience, Skills, & Abilities.
- Bachelor s degree
- 3+ years experience in sales or portfolio/client management, preferred
- Possess a detail- and process-orientation that allows for comfort operating at a high pace and velocity
- High-impact communicator and who knows what will resonate with various levels of stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in both individual and highly matrixed collaborative team environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
This position is remote-based; however, you are expected to be available in D/FW metroplex at least 3 days per month.
The annual base salary range for this role is $65,000-$99,000. You will also be eligible to participate in our Quarterly Bonus Program which on target would be 11% of your base salary.
