Job Summary: Refuel is a fast-growing company that relies heavily on market research and consumer insights. We’re searching for a Marketing Coordinator to join our expanding team. A marketing coordinator is in charge of creating and running a marketing campaign, primarily working in the marketing department of a company or small business. The job involves predicting and understanding audience behavior to tailor campaigns.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Human Resources:

Regular attendance, punctuality, physical on-site attendance (if applicable), adherence to the Company’s established policies and the team member handbook.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
-
Collaborate with the marketing team on strategies for each region to drive sales and market share.

Constantly refine and adapt strategies to maintain relationships with our consumers.

Measure campaign performance against key metrics.

Organize vendor funded events to increase foot traffic in our stores.

Perform market research to identify opportunities within the marketing department.

Manage our Online Listings and ensure that all details are accurate and verified.

Manage relationships with third-party vendors and creative agencies.

Create and manage content for all social and digital marketing initiatives to enhance Refuel digital presence. Digital platforms include in-store radio, digital menus, Gas Station TV, etc.

Maintain company database of equipment, programs, and processes.

Strong oral and written communication skills & the ability to work with others at all levels of the organization.

Role will be based in our corporate headquarters in North Charleston, South Carolina, and will report to the Director of Merchandising & Tobacco.

Education and Experience:
-
Experience in marketing, design, project management and/or event planning.

Knowledge of marketing & communication best practices.
-
Strong written & verbal communication skills.
-
Strong organizational skills.
-
Ability to work cross functionally between all departments.

Willingness to travel to store locations for project execution.

Degree in Marketing, Business, and Communications preferred but not required.

Experience with HTML, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

Working environment and physical requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Travel: Must be able to travel up to 25%.
