GEM Southwest LLC, is looking for a dedicated IT Technician. Successful candidate must have hands-on experience in all aspects of Computer and equipment (PC, Laptop, Server, Network etc) hardware and software.
Position location is at our Dallas, TX plant at 3950 Platinum Way, which specializes in IT Asset Management.
General Responsibilities
· Unloading of equipment
· Identification, sorting and separating equipment
· Testing of components for functionality
· Recording of accurate data into the ERP system & cosmetic condition.
· Adherence to Data Security, Data Destruction and Data Compromise policies.
· Sorting any items to be recycled by category.
· Analyzing, changing parts, repairing, furbishing and upgrading equipment.
· Organization and Storage of equipment including proper handling.
· Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Proven work experience in the IT field more than one year. Itad business experience preferred.
· Able to stand on your feet for hours at a time. Repetitive & Frequent lifting of items weighing 25 pounds and higher
· Basic Computer Component knowledge
· Basic math skills
· Ability to communicate effectively in English
· Industry recognized Certification
· Excellent communication skills
· Organizational and time-management skills
· Decision-making skills
Work Remotely
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
