DUTIES:
Newborn Nursery. Perform professional nurse practitioner care according to established standards, practices, and protocols. This includes performing initial components of assessments of patient condition, including history.Nursery. Responsible to a Chair or other appropriate higher-level administrator of a state university. Responsible for teaching, service, and related activities. May be responsible for research and/or academic advising and related activities. May represent the university, college/school, or department/unit on university and/or Statewide committees.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education & Experience):
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's or Medical degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience and otherwise qualified to perform assigned duties. This position requires graduation from an accredited Advanced Practice Registered Nurse academic degree program and certification as outlined in Florida Statutes 464 and Florida Administrative Code, Chapter 64, or graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant academic degree program and certification as outlined in Florida Statutes 458 and 459 and Florida Administrative Code, Chapter 64. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Instructor.
