Primary Responsibilities:
In the role of a Senior Environmental Project Manager, we'll count on you to:
- Project management taking responsibility for planning, directing, and monitoring all aspects of medium to large multidiscipline projects with a high degree of technical complexity. You will establish sequencing of environmental tasks/projects, from financial management through successful completion of the project, utilizing our technology, standards, and project delivery practices.
- Provide leadership, coordination, technical support, and project management for the environmental compliance processes associated with the planning and design of water resource management. Projects could include environmental review, environmental permitting, and feasibility studies.
- Lead permitting strategies for large, multi-discipline projects involving work with Federal Agencies including but not limited to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
- Direct teams in preparing National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documents and associated agency consultations, environmental and wildlife permits and reports for water resource management, drinking water and wastewater projects.
- Manage and coach project teams and act as a mentor for less experienced environmental team members.
- Serve as the environmental lead in internal water business group strategic planning, capture planning, driving initiatives, and business development meetings. Meet with clients to expand the broad spectrum of environmental services we provide to them.
- Establish and maintain client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A license/certification

Bachelor's degree in related field

7 years related experience

A minimum of 2 years project management experience

Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
