Job Description:
Washington, DC based association management firm seeks highly motivated individual to provide conference and event support for multiple client educational conferences and events. Responsibilities
- Work with Account Executive/Sr. Associate to plan, coordinate and implement educational conferences and events meeting the client need, vision, and budget
- Manage event registration and inquiries
- Assist in the development and execution of event marketing campaigns
- Maintain the event websites
- Manage client specific event mobile apps
- Manage online speaker platform and inquiries
- Prepare on-going and final event reports
- Assist in webinar coordination
- Provide on-site event support
- Provide additional administrative support as required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2-3 years’ experience in a professional environment; preferably with association management company, industry trade association or hospitality industry experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Extremely organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines and assess priorities
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Experience with member management software and event registration software, event technologies, CVENT & Salesforce experience is a plus
- Experience in event coordination including exhibitions, hotels, venues, food and beverage, special events, etc.
- Experience with email marketing platform and working with graphic designers
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to manage multiple projects
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities and resourcefulness under pressure
- Positive attitude and outgoing personality to interact with a variety of clients and customers
- Ability to work both in a team environment and independently
- Ability to work some nights and weekends with limited travel
Travel
This position will require up to 25% domestic travel throughout the year.

This is a largely sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 40 lbs.
