As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the NP/PA. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Interview patients and document basic medical history
- Draw Blood
- Provide Nasal Covid testing
- Check with patients and type up patients charts
- Assist during medical examinations
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
- Be on time and willing to travel to our daily different locations
- Comfortable working on our 38 Foot Medical RV.
- Must Drive
Skills
- Proven working experience as a medical assistant
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Social perceptiveness and service oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software
- Certified in medical assistance and Phlebotomy
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
- Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)
- EMR systems: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
- Certified Medical Assistant (Required)
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Required)
