Position Summary:
The Penn Foster Brand Team is seeking an experienced brand marketer to help grow, evolve, and be the champion of our brands. This person is responsible for developing customer-focused strategies to increase awareness and drive deeper engagements. You will help establish and evolve brand strategy, architecture, positioning, personas and messaging across our flagship brand, Penn Foster, as well as other career-focused online training brands. You will be a skilled brand storyteller who will develop meaningful plans based on our learner’s and client’s needs.
Essential Job Functions:
In this role, you’ll manage the Penn Foster, Penn Foster Group, Ashworth College, James Madison High School, NYIAD and NYIP brands.
- Build and evolve scalable brand strategies include messaging and positioning
- Strengthen the understanding of our brand strategy across the company by partnering with other functions to ensure messages and visuals align with our guidelines.
- Partner with creative and marketing communications teams to develop assets and materials for ongoing brand initiatives including, brand themes, awareness building activities and website and design.
- Partner with vertical strategies, acquisition, B2B, and web team to translate strategy into tactical plans for implementation
- Advance insights from learner, client and 3rd party research to inform our strategy and shape our communications.
- Cultivate strong relationships with senior leaders and key cross-organization partners.
- Manage outside agency relationships as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- 5+ years of related B2C and B2B brand experience required
- Ability to think strategically about big picture goals, identify company priorities, develop and implement initiatives/programming accordingly
- Expert level understanding of brand development
- Experience developing, implementing, and assessing new programming/initiatives focused on brand building
- Work independently but also collaborate effectively with others
- Strong written and oral communicator
