Eagle Administrative Services is offering the right candidate the opportunity to become a critical member of our Human Resource and Payroll staff. We are seeking a reliable self-starter who possesses strong communication skills, a passion for working with others and thrives in a fast paced and always evolving environment. This position would support the Human Resource and Payroll Departments by screening and interviewing applicants, preparing payroll, orienting new employees and helping administer employee benefit programs.
Job Duties:
- Provides job candidates by screening, interviewing, testing applicants and maintaining personnel records.
- Pays employees by calculating pay; distributing checks; maintaining records.
- Monitors unemployment claims by reviewing claims; substantiating documentation; requesting legal counsel review.
- Maintains human resources records by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, merit increases; tracking vacation, sick, and personal time.
- Orients new employees by providing orientation information packets; reviewing company policies; gathering withholding and other payroll information.
- Documents human resources actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of office/clerical and HR/Payroll experience preferred.
- Strong IT and technical computer program skills working with a variety of software and computer programs.
- Must have strong customer service and organizational skills.
- Dependable, motivated & detail oriented.
- Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with co-workers, and maintain confidentiality as appropriate.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate problem-solving skills.
- Positive & professional attitude.
- Strong written communication and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, follow-up and interpersonal/communication skills.
- Ability to function in a high stress environment.
- Self-starter, able to execute duties with minimum supervision.

Compensation: $22.00-$27.00/hour depending upon experience
Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
