Manager should be experienced in a supervisory role, and be able to confidently deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and clearly communicate business objectives. Must be able to competently perform duties in the absence of their fellow teammates.
To be a successful Manager, you should have strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Manager's strengths should include bringing upbeat energy into service and overseeing the management of our staff members and steps of service.
Manager Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests into our environment and create long-lasting relationships
- Maintain a strong floor presence - engaging with guests and coaching team members
- Opening and Closing the Restaurant
- Maintaining a fun, lively atmosphere during service
- Assisting with ordering as needed
- Lead team in daily lineup
- Direct, monitor and train steps of service
- Delegating daily tasks
- Supervising staff and controlling merchandise
- Ensuring company policies and procedures are followed
- Motivating and positively influencing staff
Manager Requirements:
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Good observation skills
- An ability to deliver constructive feedback
- Computer literate and basic understanding of Toast, Google Suite, and other restaurant programs
- An ability to identify weaknesses and provide coaching where necessary
- Minimum of 1 year of management experience
