Your challenge
- Complete QC testing for finished products per internal procedures.
- Complete Incoming Goods Inspection per internal procedures
- Chemical and physical testing of system waters per internal procedures
- Cleaning and sanitation of laboratory / QC areas
- Initiate QIR for non-conforming product and place electronic Quality hold on suspect product
- Testing of non-conforming product to resolve QIR issue’s as well as returned products via complaint processing system.
- Preparation of chemical additive solutions for production needs
- Perform equipment calibration as necessary
- Perform system suitability as necessary
- Perform routine inventory (e.g., chemicals, supplies, etc) for lab and maintain inventory in SAP
- Assist in ordering chemical and lab supplies
- Tagging of pallets as required for dispositioning
- Inspection of rework as assigned
- Training of QC Inspectors as designated
- Accurate, concurrent, and complete documentation of test results and activities according to internal and regulatory guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
Authority
- Evaluation of products in the production according to valid QMI documents.
- Restriction of non-conformity product according to appropriate QMI documents.
- Release of solution to production (testing and SAP)
- Training of new or existing QC employees regarding QC procedures and use of equipment.
- Perform SAP transactions to hold product.
Your Profile
- High school education or equivalent; Degree is preferred with at least 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Experience in Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, and/or regulated industry is preferred
- Must have sufficient communication and writing skills.
- Must pass pre-employment test.
- Basic computer knowledge and MS Office skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8/12 hours.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Must have appropriate vision to perform detailed quality inspection as outlined in SOPs and TPs
