Senior Network Engineer (Fluent in Mandarin)
This role is ideal for a highly skilled and experienced network engineer who is fluent in Mandarin and possesses a deep understanding of network infrastructures, particularly in the context of Broker Dealer operations and the TSS Fixed Income Clearing platform. The candidate should be adept at managing complex network systems, optimizing performance, and ensuring robust security measures are in place.

Key Distinctions:
- Preference for candidates with expertise in Broker Dealer infrastructure, specifically in connectivity and IT needs.
- Expertise in the proprietary TSS Fixed Income Clearing platform.
Role Responsibilities:
- System and Network Management: Implement and manage all systems, applications, security, and network configurations. Specialize in LAN/WAN systems to install both internal and external networks.
- Network Evaluation: Test and evaluate network systems to identify and address problems and make improvements.
- Performance Optimization: Resolve network performance issues and network device related problems. Monitor network performance and implement tuning when necessary.
- Security and Upgrades: Install, support, and maintain firewall and other security hardware and software infrastructure according to industry best practices. This includes firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention devices, and VPN concentrators.
- Problem-Solving: Diagnose advanced problems and resolve issues, often under time constraints.
- Policy Management: Manage and configure firewall/security systems by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access.
- Network Design: Maintain high-level & low-level design diagrams of data center networks and core networks, utilizing industry-standard software following best practices.
- Network Solutions: Implement, support, and troubleshoot solutions including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, wireless, and other network appliances.
- Network Monitoring: Perform network performance monitoring to ensure optimal network performance.
- Network Support: Support network and store operations with network support and troubleshooting.
- Documentation: Maintain network documentation and procedures for the enterprise.
- Performance Tracking: Track and monitor network performance, throughput, and bandwidth utilization.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of hands-on experience.
- Proficiency in configuring and supporting network equipment, including Routers and Switches, and Firewalls (Cisco hardware experience preferred).
- Hands-on experience with networking protocols and configurations (OSPF, BGP, HSRP, multicast, SIP, QoS, VLANs, MPLS).
- Expertise in troubleshooting MPLS WAN, Multicast, AAA, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS, QoS, T1/DS1, TCP/IP, and VLANs.
- Experience with load balancing and F5 (LTM, ASM, APM).
