About the Opportunity:
We are looking for motivated and responsible individuals to handle and process biological samples for metabolomics experiments. This position will be stationed in Boston (Woburn) with occasional travel for training purposes.
1. Categorize, label, record, and properly store incoming samples according to SOP;
2. Perform sample extraction, detection, and experimental controls according to SOP and keep meticulous experimental records faithfully;
3. Perform data analysis and data QC using standardized analysis pipeline, upload and submit the data in a timely manner within the project TAT;
4. Timely report and summarize problems or issues occurred during the experiment and propose solutions and recommendations for process improvements or optimizations;
5. Maintain a clean working environment and ensuring work area meets all experimental requirements;
6. Carry out sample packaging and facilitate logistics to and from other facilities;
To be successful in this role, you will require previous experience and skills in the following:
1. A Bachelor degree in biology, chemistry or related majors.
2. Experience in chromatography (LC) would be an asset.
3. A quick learner with excellent verbal and written communication skills and critical thinking skills.
4. Attentive to details and keeps meticulous experimental records.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
