Summary:
Provide leadership to the front desk team while exhibiting excellent guest service using knowledge of the company’s products, services, and policies to understand the needs of the guest, provide information, resolve complaints, while contributing to maximizing sales.
Responsibilities:
· Assists the General Manager with tasks and responsibilities.
· Process and mail all direct bill paperwork within 24 hours of check out.
· Review all direct bill accounts on a weekly basis. Notify the General Manager of potential problems. Perform collection efforts as needed
· Assist in performance reviews of front desk employees.
· Partner with Housekeeping and Maintenance daily on maintenance problems and coordinate late checkouts, stayovers and available room status.
· Assist the General Manager with operational changes, which would better the Company as a whole (i.e.: ways to increase efficiency and cut costs).
· Assists with training team members on front desk tasks and company policies and expectations.
· Assists guests, employees, and management in addition to responding to questions.
· Be hospitable to all guests, team members, and management to provide excellent service.
· Uses company product knowledge to contribute to maximizing sales.
· Properly maintain the front desk paperwork.
· Follows all company’s policies and procedures.
· Keep all business confidential on and off duty.
· Performs a variety of customer service tasks.
· Use detailed oriented skills while completing required paperwork, making/modifying reservations, auditing registration cards.
· Maintain Front Office cleanliness on a daily basis.
· Additional tasks assigned by management.
Requirements:
· Assist with monthly staff meetings.
· High school completion or equivalent certification preferred.
· Proficient in computer business applications, with a working knowledge of computerized reservation systems.
· Must be able to communicate clearly, verbal and written, with guests, employees, and management.
· Ability to evaluate guest’s needs, accurately answer questions, collect, and enter information into the computer system, while working in a group/ team atmosphere.
· One year of experience in positions involving customer service or sales.
· Must be eligible to work in the United States.
· Be responsible for all duties assigned by the General Manager.
