POSITION: Pilates Instructor
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 450-hour comprehensive Pilates education (minimum education to include the Mat, Reformer, Chair, Springboard)
- Up to date CPR/first aid training and willingness to maintain
- Comfortable learning and adding TRX, barre, and TriggerPoint modalities to repertoire
- Ability to demonstrate anatomical knowledge and attention to safety
- Experience teaching 6 or more participants in an apparatus-based group class with an ability to modify for individuals in the class
- Punctual and reliable
- Pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills
- Ability to recognize areas of improvement and proactively communicate with management
- Ability to work harmoniously with customers, management, Lead Instructor, and other instructors
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Provide Pilates instruction (intro classes, group apparatus classes, private and semi-private sessions) as scheduled by management and pursuant to Club Pilates standards
- Visually inspect equipment to ensure equipment is in good working order and safe to use
- Ensure that equipment is properly reset to studio standards after classes
- Stay up to date with, and implement, Club Pilates education standards at all times
- Attend bimonthly virtual instructor meetings

- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, work with fingers, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to lift 20 lbs and move/push equipment as needed
- Visual acuity required
- Prolonged standing
- Ability to speak and hear well enough to communicate with others in group and one-on-one settings
- Ability to think and process information quickly, clearly, and accurately
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
- Competitive hourly-based pay commensurate with experience

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $35.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 30 per week
