Key Responsibilities:
- Set the benchmark for food and alcohol quality, ensuring consistently exceptional standards.
- Implement effective cost control measures to maximize profitability without compromising quality.
- Create and manage team schedules to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Conduct comprehensive training programs to equip team members with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Foster a supportive and empowering environment that promotes the growth and development of team members.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and accountability as the manager of Jack Brown's Joint.
- Lead by example, inspiring the team to deliver outstanding customer service and contribute to the restaurant's success.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with upper management and contribute to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a leadership role within the restaurant industry, preferably as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
- Proven track record of achieving and surpassing targets related to food and alcohol quality, cost control, and team performance.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including inventory management, labor scheduling, and health and safety protocols.
- Passion for the craft beer industry and a genuine enthusiasm for providing exceptional customer experiences.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
