Jefferson Consulting Group, a woman-owned small business, is recruiting a Program Assistant. Jefferson provides strategic and operational services to federal agencies in program management, acquisition, human capital and training. The Program Assistant will primarily focus on administrative and operational support including administration, knowledge management, and coordination in support of multiple USAID Institutional Support Contracts (ISCs) in support of the U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID).
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Program Assistant provides general support to programming, to include administrative tasks, preparing program documents and correspondence, researching and ensuring compliance with rules and regulations, and providing customer service to diverse stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:

Supports drafting and maintenance of subcontractor and consultant agreements, task orders, and modifications

Provides guidance to staff and consultants on USG regulations and policies, and company policies, procedures and systems

Provides security clearance/facility access clearance and badging support for staff members and consultants
-
Creates and maintains files and trackers associated with staff and project management
-
Leads the knowledge management workstream of the contract including saving files and approvals in appropriate locations on shared drives (SharePoint and Google Drive)

Researches, monitors, tracks, analyzes and reports on topics of interest

Contributes to drafting or edits sections of reports or proposals

Coordinates, attends, and summarizes meetings

Provides scheduling and meeting management support

Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s Degree

At least 1 year of experience, including any internships

Holds a SECRET security clearance or a USAID facility access clearance or has the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance or public trust clearance

Ability to handle effectively and concurrently multiple tasks and projects

Excellent anticipatory skills and proactive approach to work

Strong oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills to effectively interact with government clients and industry partners

Strong prioritization and organization skills to meet deadlines

Positive and professional attitude and demeanor

Detail-oriented and interested in producing quality work products

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Experience with USAID, USG or an international development organization is preferred
