Company Background
APenergy is a technical consulting firm that helps manufacturing plants save energy and reduce operating costs of their major energy-using systems, such as compressed air, process cooling, controls, motor-pump groups, and other industrial processes. We identify, evaluate, and help implement quick payback solutions, as well as long-term capital projects.
We do not sell equipment, so we can remain independent and brand neutral in our recommendations. This business model requires that we develop expertise across all equipment brands and applications. Many of our customers are multi-plant companies seeking best practices, benchmarking comparisons, operating standards, and integration of newly acquired plants.
For more than 35 years APenergy has been a nation’s leader in troubleshooting and improving compressed air systems. The practical experience we have gained from completing more than 1,500 system assessments and 900 project installations allows us to address most any compressed air system problem, regardless of air system type, size, or industry.
Fast forward to the last four years, more than 80% of our revenues are performance-based and contingent on metered results of our projects. We operate the country’s most successful service that evaluates and implements savings projects to customers through the creative use of utility incentives to pay for our services.
