Park Place Manor Rehabiliation and Healthcare is looking for an individual that is compassionate, respectful, honest, and has a GOOD WORK HISTORY. Responsibilities include
- Give total nursing care to residents in your assigned unit
- Recognize significant changes in assigned residents' condition and take action
- Make meaningful rounds of all residents utilizing Resident Assessment and Comprehensive Care Plan
- Administer all treatments prescribed by physician, including wound care, foley care, etc.
- Administer the preparation and administration on prescribed medications
- Order new medications
- Chart all treatments preformed and medications given as well as notes about progress and condition of resident so that chart reflects current condition of each resident at all times
- Contact residents' responsible parties when there is a change in condition in the resident
- Be sensitive to residents' family members concerns and respond in an appropriate, professional way
- Ensure that drugs covered by the Controlled Substances Act are verified by inventory at each shift change
- Ensure continual promotion of the residents' physical and emotional health by assisting them with their medical care.
Our schedule is 3 on; 2 off; 2 on; 3 off; 2 on 2 off. This gives a 3 day weekend twice a month.
