Well Pump Installer
This opening is intended to be a Full-time position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Deliver, install and operate pump equipment on projects as requested.
- Operate a pump hoist
- Job preparation including assembling parts, supplies and materials.
- Water testing and Diagnostics
- Well submersible, jet and booster pump installation and repairs
- Installation for domestic, industrial and agricultural pump systems.
- Install constant pressure controllers and system upgrades
- Install pressure tanks
- Program pump control panels.
- Monitors Well performance and documentation
- Handles plumbing of water well lines and tank.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist technicians at times
- Operated forklift
- Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment as needed.
- Deliver and pick up equipment as assigned.
- Promote a positive safety culture and adhere to all company safety policies, procedures and practices.
- Report any unsafe acts or conditions.
- Deliver “Best Customer Experience” for all internal and external customers on a consistent basis.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to read and understand plans, drawings and blueprints commonly used in the job function.
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Must have a clear understanding of pump curves and specs.
- Knowledge and experience in equipment cleaning and maintenance.
- Maintains equipment inventory in an effective manner.
- Equipment reports are completed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Effectively participates as part of team, leading and assisting where appropriate and requesting assistance when needed.
- Achieves a customer focus by delivering high-quality, cost-effective service.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma, G.E.D. or trade school or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and communications skills.
- Must have a valid WA-03/ WA-03A Pump Installer License and/or Trainee
- Must possess a valid Washington driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- 1+ year experience

- Stand/walk 8 - 10 hours a day, and/or sit 1 - 2 hours a day.
- Occasionally/frequently lift 50-100 lbs.
- Must use hands for repetitive simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation.
- Must be able to often bend, squat and climb, including the ability to ascend and descend ladders.
- Must use feet for repetitive movement when operating equipment controls.
- Must have agility and balance to safely climb on all machines.
