This position is for a licensed attorney with at least two years of immigration experience (and preferably, with immigration court experience). The position is 100% remote with the exception of in-person court appearances when required.
The ideal candidate resides in Phoenix, Arizona, or nearby. However, we will consider candidates from all over the U.S.
In addition to assisting with asylum and removal cases, the position will require the attorney to review new cases after hire, review assembled family based petitions, and answer questions from non-attorney staff. The ideal candidate for this position will find a way to help the client. Any attorney can find a reason why we can't help a client, but creative attorneys bring the most value and earn the respect of the team.
Diener Law prefers attorneys who have a history of service. In our firm we take pride in helping one another and we believe that "givers" complement one another.
A willingness to grow every day is part of our culture. Spanish speaking is a plus but not required. A genuine willingness to help immigrants is what we are about. The firm's environment is one of collegiality and humility. Our culture is very important and improving the lives of the people we represent is our primary goal.
