Position Overview:
Hickory Farms, LLC is seeking an ambitious and enterprising Senior Manager of FP&A who leads the financial planning, and analysis function to drive business insights to support the company’s aggressive growth plans. The candidate must be intellectually curious and bring a strong problem-solving orientation to the position. In this capacity, the candidate collaborates with business leaders to develop operating and financial plans, drive analytical insights enabling business decisions and provide oversight of financial performance and key operating metrics.
Requirements:
- Drives the business planning cycle by creating the tools and processes required to build successful financial and operational plans.
- Analyzes performance of all business units to plan/forecast and recommends appropriate actions to ensure achievement of financial targets.
- Actively works with Senior Leadership to drive product and segment-level profitability.
- Collaborates with the Controller on the monthly closing process through variance analysis and financial statement review.
- Works with CEO and CFO on various business updates to Executive Team, Banks, and Board of Directors.
- Leads cross-functional efforts to improve reporting, planning, and analysis capabilities.
- Provides guidance and counsel in the development of long-range plans involving strategy development, resource allocation, timelines, and financial outcomes.
- Supports special projects as directed by CFO and CEO
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business, with MBA preferred.
- 7-10 years of finance/accounting experience with a most recent position managing an FP&A function/area.
- Self-starter with a willingness to work hands-on.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Customer service orientation with an exceptional degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics, SQL, and data visualization tools (Tableau) is a plus.
