As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the biotech sector in the Boston area. You will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to drive growth and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Identify and target potential customers in the biotech industry, including pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, and biotech startups.

Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets and revenue goals.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within the biotech community.

Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.

Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create compelling value propositions and sales pitches.

Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company and generate leads.

Provide regular reports on business development activities, progress, and outcomes to senior management.

Stay up-to-date with industry developments and emerging technologies to effectively position our products and services.
