Overview:
The Senior IT Engineer role is responsible for designing, installing, administering, and optimizing company servers, primarily in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365 and other SaaS applications to achieve high performance system and business applications. This includes ensuring the availability of client/server applications, handling all configurations/new implementations, and developing processes and procedures for ongoing environment management.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, deploy, configure, and maintain upgrades, maintenance fixes, and vendor-supplied patches on servers primarily in the Microsoft Azure environment.
- Performs capacity management and planning to ensure the IT infrastructure and services are capable of meeting current and future business demands in a cost-effective and timely manner.
- Implement and ensure security best practices and compliance standards with the Azure environment. Monitor threats and vulnerabilities and take appropriate action.
- Fulfills service requests promptly minimizing business impact. Liaise with other IT resources and outside vendors for problem resolution.
- Participates and leads key projects and initiatives. Implements new platforms as requested to support business needs.
- Provides hands-on Tier II and Tier III configuration and support of servers and workstations.
- Uses Manage Engine tools for enhanced IT operations management and automation.
- Collaborates with technology/infrastructure staff to identify data relationships and functional requirements.
- Provides support, guidance & mentorship to other IT personnel.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study or equivalent work experience
- Work Experience: 3-5 years
- Experience in Active Directory and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
- Experience in systems administration, with a strong background in VMs, Windows Server, 365, Azure, and Exchange.
- Strong experience in designing, architecting, and implementing Microsoft 365 and Azure solutions.
- Proficiency in Azure Active Directory (AD) integration, including configuration of conditional access policies, identity synchronization, and multi-factor authentication
- In-depth knowledge of Endpoint Management and Intune concepts, including device enrollment, compliance policies, application deployment, and remote troubleshooting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization and provide information and/or reports to management as needed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility and accountability
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues

Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
