Job Summary:
The Unarmed Model of Crisis Response Clinical Manager supervises the team’s Mobile Crisis Response staff (Therapists and Community Workers) and oversees that shift operation of the Mobile Crisis Response teams. The Crisis Response Team Clinical Manager ensures that the treatment and the services provided are consistent with Penny Lane Center’s philosophy and with Intensive Services principles, while they adhere to the guidelines of the program. The Clinical Manager will act in the role as responder when needed to ensure that there are two teams available for dispatch on each shift.
The Mobile crisis response team will work in collaboration with the LAPD to respond to non-violent calls that may have a social services impact including but not limited to (a) mental health, (b) substance abuse, (c) suicide threats, (d) behavioral distress, (e) conflict resolution, and (f) welfare checks;
The Clinical Manager will work three 12 hour shifts per week. Two of those shifts will be overnight (8:00pm-8:00am) and one will be a day shift (8:00am-8:00pm).
No DMH documentation requirements.
In addition, the Clinical Manager will ensure that all services meet the current standards for quality of care, medical necessity and other requirements as defined by the City of Los Angeles. The Crisis Response Team Clinical Manager is accountable for staff development and performance improvement. The Crisis Response Team Clinical Manager is responsible for promoting appropriate and effective care through established monitoring systems.
Requirements:

A minimum of a Master’s Degree with licensure as an MFT, LCSW, Ph.D. or Psy.D.

Must have had increasing levels of responsibility as a supervisor, manager, and/or administrator.

Ability to write routine case notes, reports, correspondence and program policies and procedures.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of clients or employees of the organization.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, agency representatives, and the general public.

Bilingual Spanish Preferred (verbal and written skillset).

Valid California driver’s license; current automobile insurance; have and maintain a clean driving record acceptable to the organization’s insurance company; have immediate access to his or her vehicle during work hours.
Position Location: North Hills, CA

Salary Range: $93,450 - $113,350 per year
Additional $5,000 per year bilingual Spanish differential.
Eligible employees may request up to 5 days of Paid Time Off to study for their licensure.
