Description:
Job Summary
Maintain equipment efficiency and ensure material availability associated with running a production line. Work is to be consistent with established standards by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate employees.
Responsibilities of the Position:

Assist Team Leader with all functions of the line.

Maintain all equipment to ensure efficient running.
-
Adjust equipment to maximize line effectiveness.
-
Call your immediate Supervisor and or the Maintenance Manager in the event any piece of the equipment at the line is not performing correctly.

Report any non-critical machine deficiencies to Maintenance as needed.
-
Supply all materials to each employee at the line when required to do so.
-
Train all employees on tasks as needed.
-
Enforce company rules regarding safety, discipline, cooperation and teamwork.

Attend selected meetings.
-
Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Safety Responsibilities:

Safety observations

Toolbox Talks

Attend facility safety meetings monthly.

Submit reports on any accidents or near miss situations.
Food Safety Responsibilities:
-
Attend all food safety training sessions (GMP, SQF, HACCP, Allergen, Food Facility Security, Preventing Foodborne Illness)

Participate in company GMP walks.

Enforce company rules regarding food safety, discipline, and regulations.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
-
Average math skills and proven ability to perform tasks.
-
Ability to read and interpret company documents.
-
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels.
-
Mechanical or machine operation experience.
Working Conditions:
-
Office setting and warehouse environment with temperature range of 55 – 80 degrees
-
This position may require the employee to work weekends or shifts other than their own to meet the needs of the business.

Working Shifts between 8 and 12 hours

Working in a facility where milk, eggs, peanuts, soy and/or wheat allergens are processed, with or without accommodation.
Physical Requirements:

Active position that requires standing, walking, reaching, and bending

Able to operate industrial equipment and company specific equipment.

Associate must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds.
