We are seeking a skilled, full-time EDI Analyst to join our dynamic team working in office located in Auburn, NH. This is not a remote position. This pivotal role involves managing and optimizing electronic data interchange (EDI) processes across a variety of systems, including the 834 transaction sets for benefits enrollment. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of EDI standards and will be proficient in a broad spectrum of data transfer protocols, including SFTP, FTP, and SSH public and private key sharing. Additionally, familiarity with various EDI transactions and the ability to integrate and streamline EDI functions across different platforms and systems will be essential. Experience with HIPAA and PCI compliance will be highly regarded, reflecting our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of data security and privacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee EDI processes, with a particular focus on the 834-transaction set, ensuring seamless and accurate benefits enrollment and data exchange.
- Manage various data transfer protocols such as SFTP, FTP, and SSH, including the setup and maintenance of public and private key sharing.
- Collaborate with IT and other internal stakeholders to manage the lifecycle of EDI files, including their setup, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Liaise with external partners and vendors to enhance EDI workflows and data exchange, improving efficiency and accuracy.
- Provide expert support and training to both internal teams and clients on navigating EDI processes and benefits platforms effectively.
- Analyze EDI transaction errors and implement strategic solutions to mitigate future issues, enhancing the overall reliability of data exchange.
- Remain updated on industry trends and compliance regulations related to EDI and benefits administration, ensuring our practices are both current and compliant.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients regarding EDI processes and data transfer protocols.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1-3 years in EDI, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in employee benefits data exchange.
- General knowledge of data transfer protocols, including SFTP, FTP, and SSH public and private key sharing.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements, particularly HIPAA and PCI; certification in these areas is a plus.
- A minimum of an Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline or equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
- Knowledge of EDI standards, particularly 834 files, with proficiency in handling flat delimited and CSV file formats.
- Experience with leading online benefits platforms, including bSwift and Employee Navigator helpful.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a talent for managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Detail oriented.
