Description
- Residential and commercial new construction and remodeling
- Structural construction and exterior finishes
- Framing, siding, window and door installation
- Wood and composite deck construction
- Read and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Using a tape measure, hand tools, power tools and other equipment
- Maintaining a clean and neat work site
- Maintaining and adjusting material lists and quantities
- Seasonal commercial and residential snow removal
- Provide customer service by maintaining a professional attitude at all times
- Complete project documentation as required including daily record keeping and notes.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in carpentry.
- Must be willing to work in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
- This position requires the individual to be on their feet for long periods of time.
- Must able to lift and carry objects up to 80 pounds or more.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work overtime as needed.
- Must be willing to work on ladders and on pitched roofs of up to 30 feet
- Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions including rain, snow, heat and cold.
- Snow removal work is weather dependent. It will require a flexible on call schedule and working in the elements.
- May require plow truck or equipment operation and may include some shoveling.
- Knowledge of carpentry, framing, new construction, and remodeling.
- Understanding of residential and/or commercial construction methods and techniques (Preferred)
- Ability to read & interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
