Shift: Monday- Friday 2pm-10pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Supervisor to oversee the nursing staff and ensure high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in longer-term care and skilled nursing, medication administration, and utilization review.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities
- Monitor patient care to ensure adherence to standards and protocols
- Provide guidance and support to nursing team members
- Manage staffing schedules and assignments
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback for improvement
- Assist with training new nursing staff
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Nursing; Bachelors or Master's degree is a plus
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Proficiency in medication administration and suture techniques
- Experience in utilization review and quality improvement processes
- Familiarity with sonography for diagnostic purposes is advantageous
- Ability to manage diverse patient populations including infants and seniors
