Clarion Security is seeking candidates for a Business Development Manager (BMD) to join our sales team based in the fast-growing Dallas branch. The mission of the BDM is to sell security officer and technology hybrid services to commercial and government properties for the new Dallas Branch of Clarion Security.
We are seeking a motivated team member with high standards of achievement who can deliver results. The Business Development Manager responsibilities include:
- Establish relationships and secure contracts with new customers that achieve assigned sales goals.
- Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sales.
- Prospect for potential customers within the Dallas territory using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings. Qualify and convert leads into prospects based on target criteria.
- Identify, establish, and nurture relationships with multiple key stakeholders across various functional areas within a prospect organization.
- Consult with prospects about business challenges and requirements.
- Maintain a high level of relevant industry knowledge to provide solutions to stakeholders.
- Work with subject matter experts to address unique customer requirements.
- Develop and maintain a territory pipeline plan to outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis.
- Actively participate in industry, local, and professional trade associations. Entertain prospects and clients.
- Work with team members to prepare sales presentations. Make presentations to key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Serve as capture manager and primary point-of-contact for RFPs, Review and analyze RFPs. Work closely with team members to prepare proposals. Be an active contributor and team player in preparing customized proposals.
- Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers.
- Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace.
- Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity.

- Military and/or law enforcement background a plus.
- At least two years of B2B (Business to Business) service sales experience with a demonstrated track record of exceeding sales goals.
- Familiar with Dallas and surrounding areas with existing relationships within the area.
- Advanced experience with MS Office and Salesforce.
