Job Overview
The newly formed Membership Department is seeking a highly organized professional, with a strong attention to detail, as an International Representative. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience with local union operations, leadership roles, and membership. They need to understand the union dues structure and member status.
Key Responsibilities
· Collect, review, and organize membership data from LUIS. Monitor documenting progress to minimize errors and avoid duplicates.
· Perform audits by comparing recorded local union membership information against PCT union members paying union dues to confirm relevant and correct information within LUIS.
· Manage data management projects effectively, including evaluation, recommendations, planning, execution, and monitoring.
· Work with other departments on the collection of membership data.
· Assist with data requests from internal departments and local unions.
· Identify opportunities to improve data quality, efficiency, and reporting processes.
· Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with UAW standards and regulations.
· Create and manage a dashboard to track the progress of project implementation and report the status for all tasks within the projects.
· Develop project plans that include timelines for projects and tasks, encompassing project implementation and reporting status for all tasks within the projects.
· Provide membership record management understanding and guidance as needed.
· Function as a liaison with other department staff.
Knowledge, Experience, and Skills
· Must be a UAW member in continuous good standing of the International Union for a period of (1) year, pursuant to Article 14, section 3 of the UAW Constitution.
· Knowledge of LUIS (Local Union Information Systems) Program
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to present detailed information effectively.
· Strong interpersonal skills that support a respectful and positive work environment.
· Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and demands.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Forms).

Salary and Benefits
This is a full-time, exempt position, based at our Headquarters in Detroit, Michigan. The UAW offers a starting salary of $111,760 with a 3-year progression to $124,178, along with best-in-class health, retirement, and paid time off benefits. Relocation may be available.
