The position
We are hiring a paralegal to support corporate transactions and entity maintenance matters for a large public company. Most specifically, this person will (1) prepare DOAs (delegation of authority), RFAs (request for authorization), equity financing and other related paperwork; (2) assist with entity management, including corporate registration, tax filings and dissolutions; and (3) answer general stakeholder questions.
This is a full-time (40 hour per week) role estimated to last 3 months. While candidates can be fully remote, there is a strong preference for candidates who can work in the client’s Chicago, IL offices three days each week.
The hourly rate for this assignment is expected to be between $60 and $70. This range is an estimate; an employee’s compensation will be based on the employee’s qualifications, skillset and relevant experience, specific client needs, project requirements, and other considerations permitted by law. Please see Paragon benefits here.
Is this you?
Our client is seeking Chicago-based candidates who are organized, detail-oriented, and can prioritize competing deadlines. The ideal candidate has used software for entity maintenance software (GEMS or Diligent) and is comfortable learning new technology. While this person will not be working with securities, such experience is nice to have.
