SAGE Dining Services® is seeking an Assistant Food Service Director with high-volume production experience for a private college in Cuthbert, GA. The AFSD is a hands-on position that requires strong leadership skills, imagination, creativity, a strong work ethic and superior customer service skills.
The Assistant Food Service Director is responsible for supporting the Director with all aspects of the account: catering, service, production, sanitation, team development and financial performance. Candidates should have a solid experience in menu development, full-service catering events, leading a team, integrity, safety/sanitation standards and a positive attitude.

What you'll do:
- Demonstrate exemplary customer service skills and develop client relationships.
- Assist in general location management as part of the SAGE management team.
- Assist in ordering and inventory management, scheduling, catering and production, as needed.
- Communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively.
- Implement and maintain HACCP standards.
- Participate in the interviewing, hiring, training, and ongoing mentoring of the team.
- Lead by example.
What you'll need:
- Culinary degree preferred, but not required.
- Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Fluency in sanitation and safety standards.
- Dynamic get-it-done work ethic.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to plan and organize with proficiency.
