A garde manger, also called a prep cook, assists with cold food items and storage. Prepares and maintain cold foods such as salads, fruits, cheeses and preserved meats. Ensures that all food served is of the highest quality. This is a fast-paced position.
Job Requirements:
* Previous experience in hotel or freestanding restaurant/kitchen preferred
* Thorough knowledge and understanding of Food Service Sanitation Standards
* Thorough knowledge and understanding of standard kitchen equipment and its use
* Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
* Must have (or be willing to obtain) Clark County Food Handler Safety Training Card.
