Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior
- Assist with skill acquisition programs, including teaching communication, social, and daily living skills
- Provide support during community outings and social activities
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for clients
Experience:
- Previous experience working with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and implement behavior intervention strategies effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
