The Pines Senior Living, a family owned and operated senior living facility located in beautiful Clarks Summit, is currently hiring for an experienced Director of Marketing and Admissions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned):
External Marketing
· Develop and implement a community marketing plan / strategy including the establishment and implementation of annual goals and objectives of the marketing department
· Participate with the management team in setting the facility financial and admission goals
· Responsible for meeting and exceeding the financial and admission goals
· Establish rapport and a working relationship with area healthcare professionals and discharge planners
· Develop and maintain referral networks
· Familiarity with the primary and secondary service area's
· Serve as the campus liaison with the community-at-large and develop outreach activities, special events and projects within the community including community education seminars and programs
Internal Marketing / Sales & Admissions
· Develop and maintain relationships with potential and actual residents and family members
· Follow up with current inquiries and leads
· Coordinate potential resident assessments with DOW and Memory Care Director
· Assist families with every step of the admissions and move-in process
· Responsible for working with the Executive Director, Director of Wellness, and Memory Care Director to ensure regulation compliance during resident move-in
· Oversees new resident data input into EMAR & E-Chart Systems
· Oversee and assist with facility advertising and social media
· Oversee website changes and updates
· Oversee and coordinate monthly newsletter
· Train other staff members in guest relations
· Implement sales training for other staff members of the company
Director of Marketing Required Experience:
-Minimum 5 years sales and marketing experience
-Strong community relations and networking skills
-Knowledge of marketing and sales metrics
-Computer / CRM Literate
-Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Ability to present concepts in new ways and from new perspectives
Preferred Experience:
-2+ years marketing and sales experience in senior living field
-Ability to perform resident evaluations
-Well-versed in using SEO and social media strategies to attract potential residents
-Experience in memory care / dementia field
-Knowledge of the Clarks Summit and Scranton area for future referral connections
